PROFESSIONAL BIO

I was born and raised in Northland, New Zealand, outside of Whangārei.
My undergraduate education at the University of Otago resulted in an LLB and a BA(Hons) in Political Science and Philosophy. 
I then moved to Melbourne, Australia, where I completed a PhD at the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics at the University of Melbourne.
I worked at the University of Melbourne, Monash University, RMIT and Deakin University before taking up a permanent position in Philosophy at the University of Waikato, New Zealand, in 2012.
